Phu Ko is a mountainous community forest under Ban Bung villagers’ care. They’ve been conducting reforestation, fire-breaking and other protection measures for years. Visitors will be rewarded with magnificent views of the winding Hueang river valley at the border between Thailand and Laos. The influence of Lao art is obvious to see at their historic temple, adding even more magic to this experience.

3 Days 2 Night Trip

Day 1
14:00	Arrive at Amphoe Na Haeo, the visit the ‘Grow Forest, Gain Income’ Project.
15:30	Watch dried banana making & plant nursery.
16:30	Check-in & free time.
18:00	Watch the sunset from the lookout point.
19:00	Have dinner.
21:00	Return to your resort and then get some rest for an early start in the morning.
Day 2
04:00	From the resort, take the farm tractor cart to watch the sun rise and then enjoy breakfast at Ban Bung, Phu Ko viewpoint.
08:30	Leave Phu Ko to visit different orchards.
12:00	Enjoy lunch.
13:30	Watch textiles & basket making and processing of produce.
16:30	Return to the resort, enjoy some free time.
18:00	Attend the Bai Si Su Kwan ceremony, have dinner, then join some entertaining activities with the community. The ceremony is generally conducted while guests sit on the floor in a circle.
22:00	Back to the resort and get some rest.
Day 3
06:00	Get ready for the trip home.
07:00	Have breakfast.
09:00	Leave for the Thai-Laos border.
10:00	Visit a temple at Ban Na Pueng Sut Bodhi Chai to explore the famous mural. Farewell and travel back.
